Hey there, I’m James. And welcome to my little slice of the internet.
I’m a 30 something blogger, originally from Cornwall and now living across the border in Devon. I started The Wishful Wanderer as an outlet for my ambition to travel, whilst I studied at university. After graduating I realised that I wanted to stick with writing, instead of going into wildlife conservation; the subject that I studied.
Since then, my blogging style has changed (hopefully for the better) and I bought my own domain in order to have more creative control. Now I write about subjects that I’m passionate about. Primarily, that means travel. Places that I’ve been to, those that I’ve not yet visited and bucket list destinations that I’ve ticked off. But I’m still passionate about the natural world and conservation, as well as food and films.
